Now that the buzz is beginning to build concerning the next
Presidential election season, it is time to remind both parties of the correct
etiquette when pandering. The
right way is not to field an aging,
apoplectic-looking candidate whose Veep would, in the event of his demise, be a
spectacularly unsuitable Chief of the American empire, like Sarah Palin. That’s playing a rigged game with real
money.
The right way to do it is, you create yet another useless
Cabinet post, amid much fanfare, and sedulously head it with a member of the
aggrieved lobby, where he/she/it can do no harm.
